New statistics reveal coronavirus infection rate in Leeds - see how it compares to other places

The number of people who have tested positive for Covid-19 per 100,000 of the population has been added to the GOV.UK website. It means it is possible to compare what proportion of people have tested positive in any given local authority area. There are many factors that can affect the infection rate, but Leeds does appear to be not as badly affected as some other city areas, such as Birmingham, Liverpool and Newcastle.
