The Leeds areas with the most Covid deaths in 2020 revealed by new ONS figures

These Leeds neighbourhoods recorded the most coronavirus deaths in 2020

New Office for National Statistics figures have recorded the number of deaths across Leeds between March and December 2020, where Covid-19 was the main cause on the death certificate. The figures record the home address of patients who have died, listing the total number of deaths in each Middle Super Output Area (MSOA) of the city - a geographic measure of approximately 8,000 people. Coronavirus deaths were recorded across all but one MSOA in Leeds, but sadly these neighbourhoods had more deaths than the rest of the city. All images are for illustrative purposes only.
