Location of every new Covid death at Yorkshire hospitals as new tier system announced

There have been 51 more Covid-19 deaths recorded at Yorkshire hospitals, NHS England said on Monday.

It brings the total number of coronavirus patients to have died at hospital in Yorkshire to 4,437.

Deaths were recorded where a patient either tested positive for Covid-19 or where no positive test result was received for Covid-19, but Covid-19 was mentioned on their death certificate.

NHS England releases updated figures each day showing the dates of every coronavirus-related death at hospitals in England, often including previously uncounted deaths that took place several days or even weeks ago.

Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust - 7

Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust - 2

Doncaster and Bassetlaw Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust - 3

Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust - 1

Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust - 6

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust - 9

Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust - 7

The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust - 2

Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust - 2

South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust - 1

York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust - 4

Across all English hospitals, a further 178 people who tested positive for coronavirus have died, bringing the total number of confirmed deaths reported in hospitals to 38,512

The Prime Minister has announced a strict new tiered system as the national lockdown is lifted on December 3.

Appearing via video link from coronavirus self-isolation in Downing Street, Boris Johnson told MPs the three-tiered approach had been beefed up.
