Leeds pupils bring in goods for food banks on their last day at school
Pupils at an east Leeds primary school did their best to help the city's most vulnerable before school closed due to the coronavirus.
Pupils at Grimes Dyke Primary School wore non-uniform on Friday (March 20) and brought in food items to support local food banks.
Pupils came in with bags full of items, which were then collected by Seacroft and Manston Cluster Support Team, who distributed the food to those most in need.
The school said the response was "amazing" and that "very thoughtful" items and packs had been sent it.
