Leeds on lockdown: Watch footage of police patrolling city centre as movement limited

Major roads were eerily quiet on Tuesday as people followed the Government's rules and stayed at home.

Millennium Square, usually buzzing with visitors, was completely empty in the sunshine.

The Town Hall, library and Leeds Art Gallery are all closed, with no usual visitors milling around outside.

Just a few pedestrians walked along Briggate and footage shows a police car and officers patrolling the area, ensuring people kept two metres apart.
