The Leeds areas where Covid infection rates are currently falling fastest as city enters Tier 3

People in Leeds must follow the strictest Tier 3 restrictions from today, despite Covid infection rates falling across most of the city.

The average infection rate in Leeds has dropped to 179.2 new cases per 100,000 people and some Leeds neighbourhoods are seeing rates fall very quickly. Infection rates have halved in 43 out of 107 Middle Super Output Areas in Leeds (a geographic measurement of around 7,200 people) over the last seven days. These are the 15 Leeds areas where infection rates dropped the most sharply in the seven days to November 26, the latest available figures, compared to the previous week.
