Figures released by NHS England on Tuesday, November 3 confirmed that that five people died in hospital in Barnsley.

Two people died in hospital in Bradford.

Four people died in hospitals in Calderdale and Huddersfield.

Three people died in hospital in Doncaster.

Two people died in Mid Yorkshire NHS Trust hospitals.

Four people died in hospital in Rotherham.

Three people died in hospital in Sheffield.

Seven people died in South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust hospitals.

The death toll in the region now stands at 3,465.

In England, a total of 225 people have died.

Eight people have died in the East of England, 49 people have died in the Midlands, 21 people have died in the North East, 80 people have died in the North West and eight people have died in the South West.

Patients were aged between 47 and 101 years old.

Date of death ranges from 21 October to 2 November 2020.

The total number of confirmed reporter deaths in England is 33,110.

NHS England publishes the number of patients who have died in hospital and tested positive for COVID-19 in England.

Since Tuesday, April 28 NHS England and NHS Improvement also reports the number of patient deaths where there has been no COVID-19 positive test result, but where COVID-19 is documented as a direct or underlying cause of death on part 1 or part 2 of the death certification process.
