Four more Covid deaths announced in Leeds hospitals

The latest deaths were confirmed in figures released by NHS England on Thursday, November 5.

The figures confirmed that a person who died on October 23 had tested positive for coonravirus.

Another two people died on October 29.

One person died on October 30.

Across Yorkshire, the figures confirmed that 33 have died.

Two people died in hospital in Barnsley.

Two people died in hospital in Bradford.

Four people died in hospital in Calderdale.

Three people died in hospital in Doncaster.

Three people died in hospital in Hull.

Four people died in hospital in Leeds.

Two people died in hospitals in Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust - which covers Wakefield, Dewsbury and Pontefract.

Three people died in hospital in Rotherham.

Five people died in hospital in Sheffield.

Two people died in South Tees hospitals.

Three people died in hospitals in the York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

The death toll in the region now stands at 3546

In England, a total of 236 more people have died.

A total of 100 people have died in the North West.

47 people have died in the Midlands.

11 people have died in London.

14 people have died in the South East.

10 people have died in the East of England.

16 people have died in the North East.

Five people have died in the South West.

Patients were aged between 27 and 99 years old.

Date of death ranges from 23 Oct to 4 November 2020.

The total number of confirmed reporter deaths in England is 33,873.

NHS England publishes the number of patients who have died in hospital and tested positive for COVID-19 in England.

Since Tuesday, April 28 NHS England and NHS Improvement also reports the number of patient deaths where there has been no COVID-19 positive test result, but where COVID-19 is documented as a direct or underlying cause of death on part 1 or part 2 of the death certification process.
