Coronavirus in Yorkshire: Total cases in UK continues to rise with 144 deaths confirmed
A total of 3,269 people have tested positive for coronavirus in the UK, as of 9am today (Thursday).
It is a rise of 643 confirmed cases from the same time on Wednesday, the Department of Health said.
As of 1pm, 144 patients in the UK who tested positive for COVID-19 have died, with 29 new deaths in England reported today.
