Getting an appointment with your preferred doctor at your GP surgery can sometimes be a challenge, from booking the appointment to seeing them in a timely manner.
The latest GP Patient Survey, produced by Ipsos on behalf of NHS England, highlights patients’ experiences with their GP surgeries, including where patients are most likely to see their preferred doctor.
More than 700,000 patients in England completed the 2025 survey, which was carried out between January and March last year, with the results of the 2026 survey expected to be released in July. It gathers information on how patients feel about their local GP and their experiences at their practice.
Here we reveal the GP surgeries in Leeds where patients are most likely to get an appointment with their preferred doctor. Surgeries are ranked by the proportion of patients who 'always or almost always' saw the GP they had requested.
