Artisan Leeds baker cooks up sweet support

Entrepreneur George Welton from Brown & Blond is donating sales of his chocolate brownies to 
Leeds-based charity Candlelighters.

The company has pledged to donate profits made from the sale at shows and events it attends over the next 12 months to the charity which is based at Leeds General Infirmary.

The charity, which was founded in 1976, funds research, family holidays, grants and support for families battling children’s cancer.

Brian Curran, Candlelighter’s corporate fundraiser, said:” We are grateful to George for choosing to support us.

“We are looking forward to working with him as well as sampling his products.”
