A secondary school teacher in Leeds has featured in a national campaign video encouraging people to join the teaching profession.

It is released to coincide with national Thank a Teacher Day today and the film, 'What makes a great teacher', features a variety of teachers from across the country, highlighting how they use their energy, creativity and enthusiasm to bring lessons to life.

The video has been created in collaboration with the national Get into Teaching campaign and sees Neil Doherty, a PE teacher at Boston Spa Academy, say it is the moment when you see a student learn something new that inspires him.
