7. West Oaks SEN Specialist School

8. Hillcrest Academy
The last inspection report from 2016, said outcomes for pupils were "outstanding", adding: "Pupils leave Hillcrest Academy reaching standards from very low starting points that are close to those achieved by other pupils nationally. 9. Crossley Street Primary School
The last report, dated December 2012, said: "Overall, throughout the school, [pupils] make outstanding progress in reading, writing and mathematics and attainment has been high at the end of Year 6 for several years."
10. Beechwood Primary School
The last full Ofsted inspection, which took place in 2015, said the school "inspired" pupils and "raised their aspirations". It added: "Pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development is excellent. The last full inspection took place in 2013, with the subsequent report stating: "Teaching is outstanding because teachers’ meticulous planning ensures that pupils of all abilities undertake and enjoy solving exciting and interesting tasks; these tasks make them work hard to think for themselves." Although the last available full inspection report was dated in 2007, An interim assessment from four years later stated the good performance had been maintained and that Ofsted would not be inspecting again "unless we receive further information that raises concerns."
