SCHOOLS in Leeds can help in the fight against cancer in a big way, by adding Race for Life Schools to the timetable.The charity Cancer Research UK invites primary and secondary schools across the city to hold their own Race for Life events to help pay for life-saving research.People are diagnosed with cancer every day in Yorkshire, which is why schools across the region are asked to sign up now at raceforlife.org/schools.Race for Life Schools is free to enter and schools that get involved can choose a day that fits with the term calendar. they can also choose a distance to suit the age and abilities of pupils.Every school that signs up will receive a free resource kit.
