First pictures of Leeds children returning to classroom as schools reopen

Thousands of pupils returned to school today after a third lockdown.

After weeks of home-schooling, online lessons and virtual classrooms, pupils were able to meet their teachers and school friends again.

Our photographer Bruce Rollinson was on hand to capture the school run at Morley Newlands Academy.
