The Gin and Prosecco Festival will be taking place at Yeadon Town Hall in March.

If you love gin and prosecco then this festival will have you fizzing with joy.

The Gin & Prosecco Festival will make its debut at the grade II listed Yeadon Town Hall on Saturday March 9, showcasing no less than 40 gins.

Twenty will be from UK distillers and another 20 from around the world.

Guests will be able to soak up live music, masterclasses, premium street food and of course, plenty of drinks.

Seven sample stations headed up by Monkey 47, Plymouth Sloe, Warner Edwards, Pembrokeshire Gin, Molvino Wines, Hayman Gin, Whitley Neill and JJ Whitely will be handing out freebies and offering guests chance to buy a bottle.

Meanwhile, fans of fizz can unwind in the Prosecco Garden, which will be serving up flutes of the good stuff on a faux grassed terrace.

Entertainment will come in the shape of live music from award-winning local talent, including singer and guitarist, Thomas Lillywhite. Guests can also partake in a range of gin-centric masterclasses, where expert mixologists will be on hand to demonstrate how to create the perfect G&T.

Tickets are on sale now from Ticket Source, or head to for more information.

You can also buy on the day from Yeadon Town Hall reception.

For £12 you will get entry into one of two sessions (12-4pm or 4.45-8.30pm), a welcome gin cocktail or glass of Prosecco, a branded souvenir gin glass, tasting booklet and a mini masterclass.
There will also be a house bar serving up a selection of lagers, ales and wines.

I took full advantage of writing this column on an extended lunch in the sunshine at The Potting Shed in Halifax, who […]

What’s in the mix at this year’s Leeds Rum Festival?

The Leeds Rum festival returns to the city for its fourth year and it is back with a bang. It is at the Corn Exchange in September for one night only – and this time it has teamed up with the Black Music Festival. In addition to bringing some chilled out tunes to mix with […]

Grease is still as slick as ever at Leeds Grand Theatre

Grease is one of those icons of modern pop-culture that never leaves you, and I honestly can’t remember a time when it didn’t exist. As an 80s’ kid, I loved watching it on TV growing up and even went on to appear in a stage production of it at high school – who doesn’t love […]
