Wakefield City Fields: Parts of 31 acre employment scheme site set to go on sale
and on Freeview 262 or Freely 565
Avison Young, Carter Towler and Knight Frank have announced they have been instructed to bring forward the freehold interest in 8.8 acres of land on two plots at the site in central Wakefield.
The plots already have Outline Planning Consent for employment and trade counter use, which provides a “rare opportunity” for developers, occupiers, and investors in the heart of the West Yorkshire city.

Part of the 31-acre City Fields, plot six and seven at the site gives “the rare opportunity across the region to acquire freehold land”, Rob Oliver, Principal at Avison Young said.
He continued: “We can offer considerable flexibility to future occupiers and developers – the 8.8 acres of land can be split up to three ways to create smaller plots from around 2.5 acres, opening up the space for a wide range of uses.”
Iain McPhail, Partner at Knight Frank, added: “There are a wide range of potential uses on these plots, including open storage, low density development with large yards, and small or medium sized multiple unit development, for both production and distribution.”

Enquiries for the two plots at City Fields are now open.
