Pop Specs: 'Disruptive' glasses retailer to open store at Trinity Leeds

It’s the retailer which continues to redefine the eyewear experience - fast, stylish, and affordable - all in under 20 minutes.

Pop Specs, the UK’s fastest-growing express eyewear brand, is expanding its Leeds footprint with a second store, building on the success of its White Rose Shopping Centre base.

The brand’s newest store opens at Trinity Leeds shopping centre on Thursday, December 18 at 10am.

What Pop Specs claims to set it apart from a sea of high street opticians is a revolutionary approach to eyewear retail. While traditional opticians focus on eye tests followed by days of waiting for prescription lenses, Pop Specs flips the model.

Customers walk in, pick a frame, and walk out with prescription glasses in less than 20 minutes - thanks to in-store lens-cutting technology that scans, edges, and fits lenses on the spot.

“It’s eyewear on your terms,” say the founders Dan and Lina. “Simple, fast, and without the fuss. Success for us is about staying true to our mission - making buying glasses faster, fairer, and more fun. We’re not just selling glasses. We’re making people feel good about buying them.”

Since launching just four years ago, Pop Specs has sold more than 250,000 pairs of glasses and opened more than 30 locations across the UK. The brand has been named one of the LDC Times’ “Ones to Watch”.
