New structure at Premier

Electronics distributor Premier Farnell said first-half operating profit will be marginally below last year as it implements a new global structure.
The Leeds-based company added that operating profit for the year to January 2016 should be broadly in line with this year as it benefits from margin and cost measures in the second half.
Premier Farnell is in the process of combining its marketing and distribution businesses to boost performance.
The company said first-quarter like-for-like sales rose 5.4 per cent, driven by a strong performance in single-board computers, especially Raspberry Pi, following the launch of the new model.
