Oula was launched to cater for big events and family dos, but founder Megha Gulati had to rethink her strategy when the pandemic hit.

From rainbow-coloured sliders filled with homemade falafel and spicy Asian cheeseburger, to Middle Eastern mezze and grazing platters, Oula’s food is healthy and packed full of flavour.
The company has brought its colourful spreads to dining tables across Leeds, including the homes of Leeds United s Stuart Dallas, renowned bridal make-up artist Shama Malik and BBC Interior Design Masters finalist Siobhan Hannah Murphy.
Megha said: "Oula food is about fun and big flavours and that really comes across every time we cater for a client.

Megha had worked in food marketing and advertising before taking the jump to set up her own business.
"Our keen eye for detail means that working with food comes easily to us," the 35-year-old added.
"Starting a boutique food catering business was the natural next step, though we initially had to find new ways to get people to try our amazing food because of pandemic restrictions.

Now Covid restrictions have eased, Oula also offers a table set-up service at venues and homes, where they can prepare the full spread ahead of a party or event.
The menus include Middle Eastern, Pan Asian, Indian and European cuisine, as well as desserts such as baked fudge donuts, all cooked from scratch using locally sourced ingredients.
Megha added: "The colour combinations in our lux grazing tables and mezze spreads always look really vibrant and inviting.
