Innovate To Grow: Business networking events coming to North Yorkshire

Innovate To Grow is a new series of free network events this month aimed at helping businesses across North Yorkshire.

York St John University, York & North Yorkshire Growth Hub and Made Smarter have partnered together to deliver the programme with events held at leading tourism and business innovation venues across the county.

Funded by Innovate UK, they will provide opportunities for networking to collaborate and share ideas for innovation and growth with other local businesses.

Attendees will also be able to hear about the business support and funding available to them in their area from representatives from York St John University who specialise in knowledge transfer between business and education, York & North Yorkshire Growth Hub and the Made Smarter programme.

Designed to appeal to medium and larger sized businesses based in York and North Yorkshire, the events at iconic venues will run over three days on May 16, 18 and 23, each from 11.30am to 2.30pm.

The first event will be held at Co-Lab, a workspace for digital, tech and creative businesses, in Harrogate, on Tuesday, May 16.

C4Di, the former prison in Northallerton which is now home to various tech companies, will be the venue for the second event, on Thursday, May 18.

And the final event will be at Scarborough Spa on Tuesday, May 23.
