On its website, the pub has revealed that it will reopen under the name Rita's, catering to people “after a relaxed drink, a proper night out or watching all the latest live sport".

The website says: "We’re the home of live sport. With refreshing cold pints, juicy burger and huge HD screens positioned perfectly around our bar, you won’t miss a second of the sporting action!

"Did we also mention our legendary parties? We can always find a reason to party and with our VIP packages you can be at the centre of attention.

"We look forward to seeing you soon."
