At the time, a spokesman for Mission said: "The current global crisis regarding Covid-19 is forcing businesses to make sad decisions that affect daily life and the livelihoods of our management, staff, promoters, entertainers and DJ's.

"It is with a heavy heart and deep filled sadness that we have to close our business until further notice."

Today, a spokesman for all three comanies announced that Fibre and Viaduct will remain open.

A total of 102 jobs have been saved.

"Fortunately, we are pleased to have been able to save 102 jobs at Bar Fibre Ltd and Viaduct Leisure Ltd.

"The night time industry sector has suffered the most through the pandemic, with social-distancing measures being an anathema to the nightlife industry.

"We hope the government extends support for the sector into 2021 to ensure it's long term survival".
