Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced on Monday that as part of his roadmap out of lockdown, he hoped that hospitality venues could reopen from April 12 for outdoor service only. People will be able to meet friends or family in beer gardens or to eat dinner outside for example, but only as a group of six or a mixture of two households. The Prime Minister hopes that hospitality venues will be able to open for indoor service from May 17 when indoor mixing will be allowed again, but again abiding by the rule of six or two household rules. It is not until June 21 at the earliest that it is hoped there will be no limits on social contact. Here's how you can start planning for eating and drinking through the spring and summer in Leeds:
1. The Mustard Pot
The Mustard Pot in Chapel Allerton is now taking bookings for its outside beer garden from April 12. Bookings can be made on the website.
2. Amici Leeds
Amici restaurant located on Harrogate Road in North Leeds is now taking bookings on its website for indoor seating from May 17.
3. Angelica
Bar and restaurant Angelica in Trinity Leeds is now taking reservations for seating on its rooftop outdoor terrace from April 12 on its website.
4. Tattu Leeds
Tattu Leeds is taking bookings at certain reservation times from May 17 onwards. These are: Monday – Wednesday 5.00pm to 10.15pm; Thursday – Saturday 12.00pm to 10.30pm; Sunday 12.00pm to 10.00pm; Bank holiday Sunday 12.00pm – 10.30pm.
5. Piccolino, Collingham
This restaurant has a huge outdoor space for eating and drinking and is taking outdoor bookings from April 12 and indoor bookings from May 17.
6. The Pack Horse
The Pack Horse on Briggate in Leeds will be opening outdoor areas from April 12.
