The Government announced that people are allowed to meet one other person outside of your household for an outdoor coffee or walk from March 8.
People are urged to stay within their local area, but luckily each Leeds neighbourhood has plenty of nature to enjoy - from from its parks and lofty estates, to the Otley Chevin, or even just a walk along the Leeds Liverpool canal.
It also has a host of fantastic, independent coffee shops for you to enjoy - here are just 13 of them:
1. Nigella's Cafe
Traditional British cafe, Nigella's Cafe, on Queen Street in Morley, is serving takeaway drinks every day except Sunday during lockdown. Fans of a sweet treat will be more than happy visit Nigella's with an array of homemade cakes including, chocolate jaffa cake and rich, gooey brownies.
2. Grön Kafé
Grön Kafé, in Roundhay Road, Oakwood, is a great place to go if you if you are going for a walk in Roundhay Park. The cafe has a range of food and coffees to takeaway, with plenty of vegan options too.
3. Mill Kitchen
Mill Kitchen sits within the stunning Sunny Bank Mills on Paradise Street in Farsley. Located in The Old Combing, the cafe is open for takeaway and selling delicious pastries, homemade bread and hand pies.
4. Bramble Bakehouse
Bramble Bake House in Springfield Road, Guiseley, is selling hot takeaway drinks and there is a selection of homemade cakes every day. Recent sweet treats on offer include, an Oreo cake, coffee and walnut cake and cranberry & white choc scones.
