Shoppers head into Leeds city centre as countdown to Christmas begins

Shoppers headed into Leeds city centre over the weekend as the countdown to Christmas began.

With just under two weeks until December 25, people took to Briggate, Trinity Leeds and Victoria Gate to squeeze in some last minute shopping. Photographer Danny Lawson headed into the city centre:

However, there was still the option to grab a hot beverage and some festive food from one of Leeds' many fantastic independent cafes and sit outside enjoying the brisk winter air.
