The store will then trade from 7am until midnight until at least December 23.

Opening hours at Trinity Leeds Primark will also be extended, with the store opening from 8am until 10pm.

The move comes as part of efforts to cater for the anticipated higher customer demand over the festive season.

It is intended that the extended shopping hours will help to increase customer safety by managing the rush and reducing queues, allowing people to social distance more easily.

The White Rose Primark is one of 11 stores which will trade for 24 hours from 7am on Wednesday.

The other stores are:

Trafford Centre

York Monks Cross

Bluewater

Lakeside

Birmingham Fort

Meadowhall
