North Leeds pizzeria Village Pizza launches 'doggy menu' with chicken dinner boxes, desserts and 'pawsecco'
A take-out pizzeria in Bramhope is launching a new menu - for its customers four-legged friends.
Village Pizza's 'Village Paws' menu, available from April 30, includes beef and chicken dinner boxes, a frozen yoghurt dessert and even beer and 'pawsecco' designed for pooches.
Animal lover and Village Pizza owner, Liam Kenrick-Bailey, designed the menu with his own dog in mind.
He said: "Like we do, our dogs love getting treats. They can be a reward for good behaviour or just to make our dogs feel happy.
"With the advice of veterinary experts, we've designed a pawlicious menu and our pet friends have given it the paws up."
Village Pizza, in The Cross, uses locally-sourced ingredients to create authentic Neapolitan pizzas.
As well as traditional toppings, there is a quirky Yorkshire specials section, including a Bramhope pork pie pizza, 'The Cow and Calf' with Wharfedale beef and 'The Captain' - in honour of Sir Captain Tom Moor.
