New The Range store opening in Leeds gets new May opening date
A new The Range store set to open in April has been delayed by eight weeks.
The new homeware and furniture store was originally due to open on April 9 at Kirkstall Bridge Shopping Park in Savins Mill Way.
But today the store revealed that its opening has now been delayed until May 28.
The new Kirkstall branch will create 80 full and part-time jobs.
The shop will be based in the old M&S and Outfit units at the shopping centre.
It will be the fourth branch in Leeds, with the third having only recently opened in December last year at The Springs Retail Park.
he Range is a home, leisure, and garden retailer selling a wide selection of products across 16 departments which includes DIY, Kitchen & Dining, Furniture, Arts & Crafts, and Textiles.
The first store was opened in Plymouth in 1989 and now boasts over 180 stores across the UK and Ireland.
In line with current Government guidelines, the new store will have extra safety procedures in place to protect both staff and customers when it opens.
These include social distancing floor markers, sanitising stations at the store entrance, and contactless payments where possible.
