If you visit at the right time, there are plenty of Leeds restaurants and bars offering bargain deals – and even free food.

Here, we’ve rounded up 11 of the best.

Rola Wala, in Trinity Kitchen, has been giving away free sides every Friday in July to celebrate its new menu, which includes tikka tacos, onion bhajis and masala fries. Canal Club, in Granary Wharf, has a happy hour between 3pm-7pm on weekdays. All desserts are just £3.50, while double spirits and mixers are £6. Selected cocktails are £7.50 and you can choose three small plates for £17.95.
