Leeds and White Rose Primark stores to reopen on April 12 with extended opening hours
Primark stores in Leeds will reopen on April 12 with extending opening hours for shoppers.
It follows Prime Minister Boris Johnson's confirmation that non-essential retailers could reopen in line with the Government's road map out of lockdown.
Last year, crowds flocked to the city's Primark stores when they reopened following the first lockdown.
Huge queues lined on Albion Street as shoppers looked to bag a bargain and enjoy an afternoon of browsing.
In Trinity Leeds in the city centre, the store will be open from 7am to 8.30pm on Monday, April 12.
It will be open from 8.30am to 8.30pm on Tuesday, April 13.
In the White Rose Shopping Centre, in Beeston, it will reopen at 7am on April 12.
It will remain open until 10pm.
From Tuesday, it will be open from 8am to 10pm.
Trinity Leeds and White Rose Shopping Centres have announced additional measures in place to help keep guests safe.
Safety measures include hand sanitiser points located throughout the centres, a one-way system, limited number of people allowed into the centre and a queuing system for entry to the centres if capacity is reached, to help maintain social distancing.
All centre staff will wear a face covering.
