Dog-friendly Leeds: Otley Chevin Country Park Hotel & Spa voted as one of top five dog-friendly hotels in UK
A hotel in Otley has been named as one of the top dog-friendly hotels in Leeds.
The Chevin Country Park Hotel & Spa was named as as one of Webbox Natural's top five dog-friendly hotels in the UK.
The hotel, which recently went viral for its £15 spa experiences, is the UK’s largest log cabin with 16 bedroom, 28 cabins and 4 lodges.
Is situated adjacent to a picturesque lake, surrounded by a birch forest and Yorkshire dales.
Of course, it is also close to the Otley Chevin, making it the perfect place to go on walks with your pets.
The Chevin Country Park Hotel & Spa website states that dogs are welcome at the hotel.
However, guests with dogs can only book a lodge or cabin as dogs cannot stay in the hotel bedrooms.
They are also not permitted in the restaurant or spa.
The charge for dogs is £15 per dog per night.
Melanie Smith, pet expert at Webbox Naturals, says: ‘We’d love to encourage folks to bring their furry friends out with them on a classic British petaway – they’ve probably missed the time away from home as much as you have!
‘Remember that although lots of establishments are dog friendly, it’s important to keep your pup well-behaved. We recommended bringing their favourite treats and toys with them on the trip, to make sure they feel comfortable in their new environment."
The other hotels named in the top five list are Lushpad Apartments in Manchester, The Bay Horse Inn in Hexham, Mercure Kenwood Hall & Spa in Sheffield and The Spread Eagle Inn in Clitheroe.
