Children’s events company BOOMCHIKKABOOM have joined forces with Pink Gorilla/Hairy Lemon and production company 4i events to create a virtual Santa experience with a difference.
Rasta Claus is the ‘cool’ cousin of Father Christmas and this year families can enjoy a twist of the timeless tradition of Santa's Grottos from the comfort of their own homes.

Rasta Claus is the child of Father Time and Mother Nature, and unlike a traditional Santa who is known for giving out gifts, Rasta Claus is all about giving back and has his own motto ‘Give a lickle back’.
Parents can book a five minute zoom session for their children from the comfort of their own home from the December 11 and £1 of every booking will be donated to the charity Candlelighters, which supports children and their families throughout Yorkshire affected by childhood cancer. He will also be virtually visiting some of the families Candlelighters support.
Cleve, the creator of Rasta Claus, said: “This time of year is not just about asking what the kids want for Christmas but making them aware of how they can give back to those who are perhaps less fortunate”.
Amy Harrison, Deputy Fundraising Manager at Candlelighters, said: “We are so excited to be working with Rasta Claus this Christmas and I know the families who meet him will have a great time! By booking a virtual experience with Rasta Claus, families across Yorkshire will ensure that we can continue to bring light to families affected by childhood cancer in these darkest of times”.
