Bojangles: Plans for five flats on second floor of Pudsey bar and nightclub

Could this be your chance to live upstairs at a Leeds bar?

Plans have been submitted to transform the second floor of a bar and nightclub in Leeds into five flats.

Bojangles is a well known bar situated on Lowtown in Pudsey.

Currently, the first floor of the bar is used occasionally for band performances.

However, the applicants want to change the first floor into four flats – with one currently existing.

Each flat would have a bedroom, living area, bathroom and small kitchen.

A new entrance to the front of Bojangles would allow occupants to reach the flats separately to the bar.

A design statement says the current owner “has no use for the upper floor due to a decline in event hire for the function area.”

The bar has good public transport links and parking areas within close proximity, the statement continues.

Leeds City Council’s planning team will now decide on the application – which you can view in full here.
