8. Hotel Chocolat The Springs
A new concept Hotel Chocolat store arrived at The Springs in August. It's home to a Velvetiser Café, with customers able to select from thousands of combinations to personalise their drink. 10. Jimmy Fairly
Another new arrival in August, the Victoria Quarter shop is the eyewear brand’s first site in the north of England. The French retailer sells optical and prescription glasses, as well as sunglasses, and offers eye tests by expert optometrists. Photo: National World

This top-rated tattoo parlour opened its third site in West Yorkshire - and first in Leeds - in September.
