HS2 is in the planning, and the years of construction work for the high speed rail line through Yorkshire could affect many communities and services in Leeds.

Here we run through the business demolitions, the road closures and the bus diversions which will be put in place in order to make HS2 happen, according to HS2's own documents. Assuming it goes ahead, work will start in the mid 2020s.

A new station will be created which will require 26 businesses to be demolished.
