With dance schools and other leisure venues having to temporarily close doors, the stage is set in your living room to tap into a new hobby - so you really can dance like nobody is watching.

The Dance Studio Leeds, which is usually based at Mabgate Mills, is giving one hour exclusive access to a series of new online classes and tutorials.

You can purchase a one off lesson or a whole package of them to try while on lockdown from school and work.

The Dance Studio Leeds started off the fun with an all inclusive dance for the family, with a standing and sitting version, to Taylor Swift’s Shake It Off at the weekend called #theDSLshake and is still available via the website's brand new online shop.

The Dance Studio said: "If you've always wanted to try learning a new dance style now could be a perfect time right from the comfort of your own home. It's a great way to introduce yourself to a new hobby or activity and then once our studios are back open again you can come along to a class with some confidence and knowledge of what to expect.

"The online tutorials and live classes are also a fantastic way to support local independent freelancers and businesses like ourselves so we can all reopen our doors once the lockdown is over"
