Rita Ora confirmed for Leeds Arena MOBO Awards


She joins already announced performers Krept and Konan, FKA Twigs, Naughty Boy and Ella Eyre.
Ora is no stranger to the MOBO stage – she first performed in 2008 with Craig David and Tinchy Stryder. She later returned to take the award for Best Newcomer.

Hide AdShe said: “When I was asked to perform at this year’s MOBO Awards, of course I was going to say yes. MOBO gave me my first break on TV in 2008, when I performed as a featured artist before I had even released a single.”
Ora, currently serving as a judge on the X Factor, is also among the acts up for awards at this year’s event.

The MOBO Awards, standing for “Music of Black Origin”, are now in their 20th year. Tickets for the Leeds event have sold out, but it will be broadcast live on ITV2.
