This is why film crews are at the Cardigan Arms pub in Kirkstall Road Leeds
A spokesperson for the pub, in Kirkstall Road, said that the show is going to be a “German, Nordic noir-style detective drama series”.
They said producers were drawn to the pub due to the “beautiful Victorian interiors and abundance of character and original features which were restored by the team at Kirkstall Brewery three years ago”.

The restoration even won the AMRA’s Joe Goodwin Award as part of its national Pub Design Awards in 2019.
The pub is known for its impressive interiors, boasting displays of fine woodwork, etched glass, mosaic panels in both entrances and the original ceiling mouldings and wall coverings from the 19th century.
