Hide AdMr Wright goes to visit the owl, which appears to have a broken wing, and says: “It appears to have flown into a cable and injured its wing and a bird in the wild would die with this kind of injury.”
He takes the bird into Skeldale Veterinary Centre to perform surgery.
Ms Dawson has more than 50 bird resident in her garden.
During the episode tomorrow, Julian Norton also has an interesting house call to Yorkshire stately home Harewood House, where he treats eight goats.
He is there to give them their twice-yearly inoculations and check their teeth and feet - but is given the run around.
