Who stars in the show?

The show follows the daily lives of Amanda Owen, also known as the Yorkshire Shepherdess, her husband Clive and their nine children.

Amanda is a sheep farmer, best-selling author, photographer, public speaker, and mother of nine.

Amanda's first book, named The Yorkshire Shepherdess, was published in April 2014. It offers readers both an honest and inspiring account of her transformation to a rural sheep farmer.

Where is the show filmed?

The show is mainly filmed on the family’s Ravenseat Farm, located near Swaledale, but also shows the family as they venture to other locations.

For example, season two showed Amanda and two of her children buying a new pony at Appleby Farm.

The family live 1,800 feet above sea level on a 2000 acre hill farm, where Amanda and Clive juggle busy farm life, tending to their flock of 1,000 sheep alongside their nine children.

Channel 5 explains the show is a “Documentary series set on the Owen family's remote farm in the Yorkshire Dales.”

When will the new series be on TV?

The new series, which will continue to follow the daily lives of the family as they navigate the seasons, will begin on Tuesday 14 July, at 9pm.

Jo Cantello, founder and director of Wolfsong Media, which represents Amanda, took to Twitter to say, “Wow, the outpouring of love about the new series of #OurYorkshireFarm is something very special.

“Thanks to everyone who's shared their support & spread the news so far! Coming to your TV screens from Tuesday July 14th at 9pm!”.

Fans of the show took to Twitter to express their delight with the news of a new series.

One Twitter user wrote: “I cannot wait. This family are absolute gems. Honest, hardworking, loving and funny”.

Another said: “For me their story is a contact with the Swaledale I left behind. As a farmer of farming stock this is a wonderful , charming and realistic look at my precious peaks and valleys”.

“The best programme on tv. Beautiful and hardworking family getting to grips with everyday life and what fun the children have. Love it,” said another fan of the show.

How many episodes will there be?

The previous two seasons have both featured four episodes each, showing the family as they navigate through autumn, summer, spring and winter with it likely that the new series will also follow suit.

Each episode is an hour long.
