They seem to have funny bones - and when you realise who they are related to, it comes as no surprise.

The pair are actually the great-niece and great-nephew of none other than Rotherham's own Chuckle Brothers, Barry and Paul.

An adorable family photo has re-emerged on social media of a young Pete and Sophie with Paul and Barry, who sadly died with cancer.

Sophie paid tribute to her relative at the time, writing: "A truly lovely and funny man to be around. You filled millions of childhoods with laughter and entertainment including mine and Peters. You will be sadly missed by many. Rest in peace Uncle Barry. Lots of love from me, to you."

The Chuckle Brothers - Barry David Elliott and Paul Harman Elliott - were the stars of BBC slapstick children's comedy series ChuckleVision from 1987 to 2009.
