7. Peaky Blinders, 2013-2022

8. The Syndicate, 2012-2021
The first and fourth series of BBC One drama The Syndicate were based in Leeds. Written by the late Kate Mellor, the show follows five members of a betting syndicate as they win the lottery. 9. The Hunter’s Prayer, 2017
This high-octane Hollywood thriller follows an assassin as he helps a young woman avenge the death of her family. 10. Emmerdale, 1972-present
One of Leeds' greatest TV exports, the long-running soap set in the fictional Yorkshire village of Emmerdale is filmed between the ITV Studios in Kirkstall Road and a purpose-built set in Harewood. Some filming takes place in Leeds and Otley. Photo: Tony Johnson
11. The Damned United, 2009
The Damned United is undoubtedly the cinematic pride of our city. As a film about Leeds United during Brian Clough's ill-fated tenure, it’s no surprise scenes were set and filmed in the city. 12. No Angels, 2004-2006
The Channel 4 comedy-drama series followed the lives of three nurses and a healthcare assistant from Leeds, showing their lives in and out of the hospital.
