Yorkshire's largest city has featured in a number of major productions and the screen industry has grown in recent years. There’s been five-part thriller Better, multiple series of The Syndicate and the Great British Sewing Bee, now filmed in Farsley.
But here are 10 other TV shows and films that you might not have realised were filmed in the city.
7. Censor (2021)
This British psychological horror film based in the 1980s was shot across the region - the cast were spotted filming in Pudsey in 2020. The film was released in 2021 and scooped the Méliès d'Or for Best European Fantastic Film.Photo: Tony Johnson
8. Anne Boleyn

9. Secret Invasion (2023)
Hollywood stars including Samuel L Jackson and Emilia Clarke were spotted in Leeds in 2022 during the filming of the Marvel production, Secret Invasion, which premiered earlier this year. Several roads were closed over the weekend as the shoot took place.Photo: Simon Hulme
