Youngsters from Seacroft Grange Primary School helped members of Seacroft Green Residents Association and staff from Leeds City Council's parks and countryside department plant out £250,000 worth of bulbs at Seacroft Green. This was 2008, a year in which Mother Nature did its defiant best to dampen the spirits of revellers in LS14. Seacroft Gala only lasted 30 minutes before organisers were forced to abandon the community event owing to heavy rain. On a brighter note your YEP visited the David Young Academy to showcase the teaching talent inspiring the next generation. Enjoy these photo memories from a year in the life of Seacroft.
