Edmondson was in line to make his Northampton debut in Saturday's League One clash at home to Oxford United but the game was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch
Tonight's clash at Blackpool then looked all set to provide the teen striker's first outing for the Cobblers but the contest has also fallen victim to the weather.

Hide AdNorthampton signed striker Edmondson on loan until the end of the season last Thursday after the 19-year-old's loan spell at SPL side Aberdeen came to an end.
The Cobblers were competing with other clubs in their division plus outfits in the SPL and League Two to sign the teenager on loan for the rest of the season.
Northampton are now due back in action on Saturday at League One leaders Lincoln City.
