Leeds United are back in action this weekend when they take on Brentford.

The Whites have enjoyed a solid start to the season so far, picking up another point against Aston Villa over the weekend, despite going down to 10 men just after half time.

Jesse Marsch’s men will want to build on that draw against Brentford this weekend, but the Bees have proved tricky to deal with for their opponents so far this season.

It will be interesting to see how Leeds stand up to the challenge, but in the meantime, we have rounded up all the latest news and transfer rumours surrounding Elland Road.

Kent message

Former Leeds keeper Paul Robinson believes his former club should go out and sign reported target Ryan Kent.

He told MOT Leeds News: “Leeds have looked at Kent for a long time. He was a player who was wanted by the previous regime under Bielsa and he’s obviously someone they’ve tracked closely in the last two seasons.

“It’s obvious he’s now going to leave Rangers coming into the last six to eight months of his contract but I wouldn’t be in favour of paying money for him now when his contract expires next year.

“He’ll be a very good addition to the Leeds squad if you look at it now but he’s not a player who needs to come in during January. The club don’t need to spend any type of money for him and they should compete for his signature at the end of the season.

“I’m sure there will be other clubs looking at him but any price-tag Rangers will put on him will put people off because he’s going into the last six months of his contract.

“It’ll have to be a really good deal for a team to take him in January but it’s quite clear his time at Rangers is coming to an end and there’ll be no shortage of takers for him - he’s a top player.”

Dallas update

Leeds may not see versatile star Stuart Dallas until next season, according to reports. Dallas is in the midst of an extended period on the sidelines after fracturing his femur last season.

And Leeds Live have speculated that Dallas may not be fit until next season as he continues to work his way back from fracturing the biggest bone in the human body.

Dallas is predicted to return to training in the new year, but it could take him some time to regain full fitness.
