Here's your guide of what's on in Leeds this weekend - with things to do, walks and online events:
1. LGBT+ Dog Walking club
A fully inclusive Leeds LGBT+ dog walking club meeting at Kirkstall Abbey meeting at 8.45am for a 9.00am on April 10. The walk will last approximately an hour and everyone is welcome, even if you don't have a dog! It's free to join and you can register your interest and get a ticket on the Eventbrite website.
2. Industry Voices - University of Leeds hosted panel
Join Dr Beth Johnson, a professor in film and media, from the University of Leeds as she hosts a panel of industry professionals to discuss the issues raised in the films from the Independent Directions Film Festival. They will talk about their own experiences as well as offering advice in guidance. The online event is at 3.00pm to 4.30pm on April 10.
3. Go Ape Temple Newsam
The Go Ape outdoor adventure at Temple Newsam in Leeds has reopened. The high rise woodland has three different adventures, including a Treetop Challenge, a Treetop Adventure and a Treetop Adventure Plus. They are aimed at a variety of different confidence levels, ability, age and time spent on the ropes. Temple Newsam is Go Ape's first high rise experience in West Yorkshire, and has a wide range of longer zips, plummets and heights. Tickets must be pre-booked.
4. Spring at Harewood House
The Spring at Harewood House event is open all weekend. Tickets must be pre-booked online and include entry to Harewood's Grounds and Gardens. You can now walk around the Harewood Lakeside path, stand on the Harewood Terrace to see the stunning views and enjoy the Adventure Playground.
5. Easter fun at Hall Park
Easter isn't over at Hall Park in Horsforth where the team at Emmanuel Baptist Church are putting on a morning of fun, activities, quizzes, games and races on April 10. The morning Funday event starts at 10.30am with registration staggered from 10.00am onwards. It will finish at 11.45am. Adults don't need to sign up but children do and interest can be registered on Eventbrite.
6. Leeds Independent Food Tour
Discover Leeds’ best independent pubs and restaurants with a focus on local ingredients and small, reputable suppliers. Going from the Queen's Hotel at 11.30am on April 10, you can expect local beer, Yorkshire puddings and plenty of cheese on this four-hour tour.
