Featherstone Rovers: Duffy demands more from his team
That was coach John Duffy’s assessment of Featherstone Rovers’ 20-4 win over Halifax in Betfred Championship round one.
“It was a tough game,” Duffy said.
“We got off to a really good, aggressive start, but we were not clinical enough with the ball in the first half.

“Halifax went in with their tails up, but we coped with what they threw at us really well and came up with a good win.
“It was a professional performance in the second half.
“We wanted to get off to a good start. We can get better, but I am pleased with the result.”
Shaun Robinson suffered a knee injury which is being assessed and Luke Cooper is being treated for a slight groin strain.
