Featherstone Rovers capture former Super League full-back
Sheriff made nine appearances for the Robins before leaving for Brisbane side Redcliffe Dolphins in Australia in 2012.
Since returning from Australia he has represented Dewsbury Rams, Gateshead Thunder, Doncaster, Hemel Stags, Sheffield Eagles, and most recently, Keighley Cougars.

Hide AdHowever, the 28-year-old has now earned a chance with the ambitious Championship club who already have ex-Hull KR, Hull FC and Wakefield Trinity star Craig Hall as their main No1.
“Louis spoke to me sometime ago about wanting to test himself in a good, professional environment,” said Featherstone coach James Webster.
“I liked his drive and determination regarding wanting a shot to prove himself.
“He has good experience in a variety of positions and has done really well in his time training with us so far.”

Hide AdRovers football manager Steve Gill added: “I remember Louis being a real good player within the Hull KR youth set-up.
“Since then he has played in Australia and some teams in the Championship and League 1.
“He has a lot of experience to offer in the outside backs and has shown a real hunger to be part of the culture we are continuing to develop at the club.”
